Our Inspector is a nationally Certified Residential Microbial/Mold Inspector, Level II and a member of the IESO (Indoor Environmental Standards Organization), but we are also under contract with an indoor air environmental company, American Metropolitan Environmental, www.ammetenv.com who uses our investigative/survey information and photos from the work site, the samples are then sent to Aerotech Laboratories lab for analysis and then the Customer is provided a written report that fully explains what the survey and lab results indicate.
Check out the links below for more information about mold.
MOLD INVESTIGATION, TESTING AND ANALYSIS
Dave Doubrava is a nationally Certified Residential Microbial/Mold Inspector (Level 2), who conducts the investigation/survey of the property and obtains swab and/or air sample(s) for mold testing as required. We also utilize an EPA Certified IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) consultant, Steve Moreland, at the IAQ consulting firm of American Metropolitan Environmental (www.ammetenv.com) to review the lab results and write the detailed report. Procedures include: thorough structural investigation to determine probable causes for the problem; photos taken of all areas of damage and visible mold; swab sample(s) taken on visible, affected areas; cassette air-o-cell test(s) to establish exterior base levels and determine conditions inside the home. All samples are then overnighted to a Phoenix laboratory, Aerotech Laboratories (www.aerotechpk.com) for lab analysis; results of lab tests are provided to our Environmental Consultant for his professional, written recommendations for proper corrections or the use of a nationally certified mold remediation contractor, depending upon the conditions indicated by the mold lab analysis and the severity of the situation. After the clean-up/remediation is "completed", clearance re-testing is always recommended.
