Since leaving active duty as a Marine Corps Officer in 1992, Charles has been the owner/operator of AmeriSpec of NE Florida, Inc., and has conducted thousands of home and building inspections in the greater Jacksonville area. Charles is a Florida Licensed Residential Contractor (CRC 1326414), an American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Certified Inspector (ACI #96358), is a member of the Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI) and is a Registered Professional Inspector (RPI-0111), is a Florida Licensed Home Inspector (FL HI #1046). Charles is also qualified by the Florida Department of Agriculture to conduct wood destroying organism inspections (JE112133)
Inspector. Raymond Fields.
Ray has been inspecting homes in the greater Jacksonville area for over ten years, since retirement from a 30 year career in the United States Marine Corps. Ray is a very conscientious and detail oriented inspector. He is a Florida Licensed Home Inspector (FL HI #4069) and is an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI # 205245). Ray is also an ID Card Holder qualified to conduct wood destroying organism inspections.
Inspector. Jim O’Brien.
Jim has been with AmeriSpec since 2004 and has earned a reputation as a detail oriented and thorough inspector. He cares about his clients and does his best to ensure they are completely satisfied with his inspection services. He is a Florida Licensed Home Inspector (FL HI #1141) and is an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI # 242983). Jim is also an ID Card Holder qualified to conduct wood destroying organism inspections.
Inspector. John Grinnan.
John comes to AmeriSpec after leaving a long career in the flooring and remodeling industry. He is our newest inspector but has already earned a reputation for hard work, thoroughness, and professionalism. He is a Florida Licensed Home Inspector (FL HI #3217) and is an ASHI member. John is also an ID Card Holder qualified to conduct wood destroying organism inspections.
All of our inspectors had to endure several months of personal training conducted by Charles. This training included, classroom training, at home study, and an extensive ride along program before they conducted their first inspection for a paying customer. We are proud of the technical knowledge of each of our inspectors as well as their caring attentive personalities and their professionalism.
General Manager. Betsy Iodice.
Betsy runs our office. She has been with AmeriSpec for well over ten years. She coordinates all inspector schedules and ensures that all of our customers are properly informed regarding the inspection process.
Office Assistant/Marketing. Donna Z.
Donna assists Betsy in a myriad of duties and also ensures that our marketing, customer outreach, and surveys are completed in a timely manner.
Marketing Representative. Brian Waldrip.
Brian is a full time college student at the University of North Florida. He assists the owner on a part time basis in delivering the AmeriSpec story to those individuals that care to listen. Those professionals include, property owners, property managers, professional Realtors, mortgage brokers and insurance agents.
Our office staff is one of the most important keys to our success. They are the voice of our company. They will always treat you with respect, no matter the request and will diligently answer all of your questions and make the inspection process as easy as possible.
