Involved in construction since 1973, Joe Nernberg has acquired 4 classifications of contractor licenses, a certified Thermographer, and served as the local CREIA chapter president multiple times. Joe Nernberg still writes columns for the Ventura County Star, a donor (and volunteer) for Habitat for Humanity and brings risk management workshops to real estate offices.
Joe’s past experience includes Industry Expert (Contractor State License Board), designer/draftsman (List Mechanical Engineering), installer (Metro Retrofitting), vocational instructor (Oxnard Union School District), and a vendor for 3 home warranty companies. Joe has completed over 6,500 AmeriSpec inspections.
Chris brings to every inspection over 15 years of architectural experience. He has assisted in the design and construction administration of many projects in the public works sector, most in excess of $1 million in construction costs. Over that time, he has accrued a wealth of knowledge in construction methods and materials; a fine background for the home inspection industry. Chris is also a standby member of a FEMA disaster support team. He holds a Certificate in Construction Management from Ventura College and numerous FEMA certifications.
