AmeriSpec Home Inspection Services has been serving Delaware, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Cecil County Maryland since 1995. We have now conducted over 21,000 home inspections and are the number one home inspection company in our region. Cheryl Myers, President
I am the owner and president of AmeriSpec Home Inspection Service since 1995. As the owner I have had the opportunity to grow within the real estate industry and we are now one of the largest home inspection companies in Delaware. We have built our reputation over the last fifteen years by providing outstanding customer service to our clients. We adhere diligently to contract deadlines and supply the client with unbiased overall condition of the property for which they are interested. I am a member of the New Castle, Kent and Sussex County Board of Realtors. I am very proud of our company and the service we perform from the initial booking to the final delivery of our product. I feel that we work together as a great "team" and will continue to do so going forward.


Lisa Roddis, Senior Inspector
I am the supervising inspector for AmeriSpec Home Inspection Service. I have been with the company since inception. I am a certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and CRI accredited member of the National Association of Home Inspectors. My job consists of not only conducting home, termite and lead inspections but also managing our team of inspectors. In addition, I have been certified for twelve years to perform radon testing in both Delaware and Pennsylvania. I also have a Class H license to inspect Septic systems. My latest accomplishment was becoming a DAR certified instructor to provide realtors continuing education accreditation.


Jim Wolintos, Inspector
I have been with the company for 8 years. I am a certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors. I have been managing and inspecting homes close to 20 years. I have over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. My previous work history includes everything from complete demolition & reconstruction projects to residential renovations & commercial retrofits. I also have had experience with major oil companies ranging from piping and electrical installations to PetroTite Testings of underground fuel tanks.


Bruce Slody, Inspector
I am a 24 year Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where I worked as a loadmaster on the C-5 Cargo Aircraft. I've been working in the Construction Industry for the last 9 years and worked construction part time while in the Air Force. I was the Owner of a business for 4 years doing renovations of both Residential and Commerical properties. I have experience as a County Building Codes Inspector, where I've done hundreds of inspections on new construction and renovations/additions. I was employed for 4 years as a Building Superintendent running 4 developments in DE, overseeing over 80 homes. I really enjoy meeting different people and look forward to helping them ensure that the home they picked is their dream home. I am an associate member of the American Society of Home Inspectors.


Ed Dee, Inspector
For 30 years I have worked in the home building and remodeling industry. For 20 of those years I was owner and President of Southside Builders, Inc. I am a certified home inspector for the National Association of Home Inspectors for Delaware and am also Licensed in the State of Maryland. My other certifications include Maryland Septic Inspector, Delaware Class H Septic Inspector, and certified pest inspector for the State of Delaware. An avid outdoorsman, I enjoy hunting and fishing, golfing and other outdoor sports. I am also actively involved in my community.


Michele Myers, Office Administrator
In this position, my primary goal is to provide outstanding service to our customers and guarantee “on time” delivery of inspection results. I work closely with Cheryl Myers, assisting in Accounting, all aspects of Marketing, and wherever there is a call for duty. Prior to working at AmeriSpec, I worked as a licensed Life & Health insurance agent and Certified Financial Para-planner.


Victoria Bowring, Office Administrator
I am the primary scheduler for AmeriSpec. When you call the office to book a home inspection you will most likely speak with me. Prior to working at AmeriSpec, I was a licensed Realtor in Delaware and Pennsylvania, so I understand the needs of all parties involved in the transaction. My number one goal is to provide outstanding customer hospitality to each and every client.
